Deposits and payments, ie the purchase of a flight or voucher, received will be considered to be in full acceptance of the terms and conditions of this agreement.

Jet Fighter has been conducting adventure flights in exciting ex-military aircraft since 1996. We have an unblemished safety record, a complement of three jet aircraft at your disposal, four highly trained, elite pilots on standby to knock your socks off.

Our flight weekends take some considerable organisation and incur significant costs associated with positioning the aircraft and allocation of staff, including pilots that may otherwise be off on training, commercial or other real life military mission

GENERAL

All passengers must sign a Liability Waiver before the flight with no exceptions

People under 18 may fly but only with parental or legal guardian’s consent. We recommend a minimum age of 14 years but this is subject to individual review. There is no maximum age restriction for these flights.

Passengers must be of reasonable health and fitness.

Intoxicated passengers will not be allowed to fly at the absolute discretion of the operator, no refunds will be given and no opportunity to rebook the flight will be afforded.

Whilst we are able to accommodate most body sizes and heights we do require knowledge of extreme variations prior to booking.

As each flight is tailored to suit the individual we are able to offer flights to people affected by various types of disabilities and medical conditions. If this applies to your booking please speak to our staff prior to booking your flight.

FLIGHT AVAILABILITY

Port Macquarie flights are available daily, subject to pilot availability.

Newcastle flights are available on weekends only, as per our flight schedule which is set by RAAF Williamtown, every six weeks and is subject to availability and minimum numbers.

Maroochydore flights are no longer available beyond 2005 due the discretion of Sunshine Coast Airport, Maroochydore.

Lismore flights are available given flight dates around every six – eight weeks, subject to availability and minimum numbers.

DEPOSITS

Jet Fighter requires a minimum 40% deposit on all bookings. This is to allocate resources specifically for your flight.

Minimum deposit is $700 for the Strikemaster Jet or $200 for the CT4-A Fighter Trainer

Jet Fighter does not guarantee to hold your reservation until the full deposit is received. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure the booking deposit has been received by Jet Fighter.

REFUNDS

Gift vouchers are not refundable. Gift vouchers can be transferred to another family member or friend.Refunds are not given due to a change of mind.

In extenuating circumstances and at the discretion of Jet Fighter, refunds may be made for valid vouchers to the person who ordered the voucher in the same manner as which payment was received and upon written request. Refunds will be subject to an administration charge of 25% of the original price paid. Vouchers must be returned before the refund can be made.

We regret that we are unable to make refunds in respect of postage/packing/delivery/service charges or insurance. No refunds can be made for vouchers that have expired, been lost, damaged or defaced in any way.

Where a partial or full refund is agreed to, an administration charge of 25% of the redemption value will be deducted from the amount due.

A refund will not be given for a 'no show'.

WEATHER

In the case of adverse weather your flight may be cancelled and rescheduled.

Jet Fighter reserves the right to cancel flights at any time in the event of bad weather and/or other factors affecting flight operations and safety. In this case passengers will be notified ASAP and rescheduled for an alternate flight date. Rescheduling in this case is not subject to cancellation or other fees.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift vouchers have a validity period of 12 months from date of original issue.

A gift voucher may be extended beyond this time up to a maximum of 12 months. An administration fee of $50 applies to extensions and the difference between the original cost of the voucher and the current cost of the flight is also payable prior to the voucher been redeemed.

Gift vouchers are not refundable or redeemable for cash.

Gift vouchers can be transferred to another family member or friend.

CANCELLATION POLICY

OPERATOR

Jet Fighter reserve the right to cancel flights at any time in the event of bad weather and/or other factors affecting flight operations and safety. In this case passengers will be notified ASAP and rescheduled to a mutually convenient, alternate flight date.

PASSENGER

Strikemaster Jet

A cancellation fee of $300.00 will apply to all cancellations up to 14 days prior to flight date. A cancellation fee of $600.00 will apply to all cancellations 14 days or less prior to flight date. The relevant cancellation fee must be paid before the voucher can be used to rebook another flight.

Any subsequent cancellation of the booking by the beneficiary or participant may result in part or full loss of those funds previously debited.

A refund will not be given for a 'no show'.

A cancelled reservation must be positively acknowledged by Jet Fighter before the reservation is deemed cancelled.

CT4-A Fighter Trainer

A cancellation fee of $100.00 will apply to all cancellations up to 14 days prior to flight date. A cancellation fee of $200.00 will apply to all cancellations 14 days or less prior to flight date. The relevant cancellation fee must be paid before the voucher can be used to rebook another flight.

Any subsequent cancellation of the booking by the beneficiary or participant may result in part or full loss of those funds previously debited.

A refund will not be given for a 'no show'.

A cancelled reservation must be positively acknowledged by Jet Fighter before the reservation is deemed cancelled.

RESCHEDULED FLIGHTS

Changes made to your booking on the day of the flight are treated as cancellations and are subject to the relevant cancellation fee.

Rescheduling your flight with in 14 days of your flight booking will be treated as the same as a cancellation and the above cancellation fees will apply
